Yes or yes? And believe it or not, that&#8217;s how a majority of things in life work&#8230; even business.<\/p>\n<p>Getting people to actually take interest in what you offer can be borderline impossible unless you can <em><strong>effectively<\/strong><\/em> pitch the value you provide. &#8220;What sets you apart?&#8221; is the question you should confidently be able to answer so that consumers commit to your product or service&#8230; and to you!<\/p>\n<h2>How to Create a Unique Sales Pitch for Your Product<\/h2>\n<p>Use your imagination to picture the truth of what it really means to sell yourself, to sell what you have to offer to as many people as possible.<\/p>\n<p>You\u2019re the \u201cweirdo\u201d on the street with the megaphone. That\u2019s right, the one that people are aware of but usually pass by. Some can hear you from blocks away, but the message only gets clearer the closer they get to you. And the point is of course to get them closer to get them to do something.<\/p>\n<h3>Be Prepared to Present a Sales Pitch at any Moment<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Depending on the content (product) and the presentation (emotional impact), some people will stop and listen,<\/strong> especially if what you\u2019re saying is interesting to them or has imminent, relevant meaning. Of those very few people who stop and listen, even fewer will actually engage you, give you a chance to address objections, or otherwise convince them to take some kind of action.<\/p>\n<p>But everybody\u2019s got somewhere to be, right? Who has time to stop and listen and engage? Plus, you\u2019re kind of weird for putting yourself out there talking all passionately and excitedly into a megaphone anyway. Who does that?<\/p>\n<p>Every business person does, and we have to. The key is to understand that at any given time, you have about 3% of people who are ready to buy something right now, whether it\u2019s a car, a cell phone, furniture, you name it. That\u2019s what drives all commerce.<\/p>\n<p>About the same percentage of people are willing to listen because they\u2019ve been <em>thinking <\/em>about buying something but aren\u2019t necessarily committed to it. It\u2019s not an immediate concern. If they did buy, it would have to be because you gave them an offer they couldn\u2019t refuse.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What does that mean for the vast majority of others passing you by? It means they\u2019re indifferent, not thinking about it, or flat out uninterested.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-5002 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/www.harveker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/4\/files\/2017\/09\/Cress-WP-images-copy-3-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.harveker.com\/blog\/files\/2017\/09\/Cress-WP-images-copy-3-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.harveker.com\/blog\/files\/2017\/09\/Cress-WP-images-copy-3-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.harveker.com\/blog\/files\/2017\/09\/Cress-WP-images-copy-3-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.harveker.com\/blog\/files\/2017\/09\/Cress-WP-images-copy-3.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Provide Consumers with Necessary Product Information<\/h3>\n<p>But what if we could say something that would get 75% of people passing by to stop and listen, or more? What would make them stay? It always points back to adding information that is above and beyond a particular product or service you\u2019re offering. You generalize, then specify.<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re a business coach pitching CEOs and managers to become your clients, who you are as a company should be last in your presentation. Yawn! Start off with something like, \u201cThe 5 Most Dangerous Trends Facing Small Businesses Today\u201d. No business owner can logically or emotionally say they wouldn\u2019t be interested in that subject. It matters to all of them! They\u2019re all business owners or involved in some way, and none of them want anything to do with danger in that business.<\/p>\n<p>In reality, it\u2019s actually much easier to keep prospects near because by the time they\u2019ve reached you, you\u2019ve already narrowed the audience anyway because you\u2019ve got your identity and unique sales pitch nailed down, yes? It\u2019s much easier to pitch to qualified leads than people who thought they were getting one thing but get something else because you weren\u2019t clear on who you\u2019re really trying to reach. So now it\u2019s a simple matter of turning 3% of those who were ready to do something anyway into a much a deeper pool by giving away information that they\u2019d all be interested in.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How do you champion your product or service?
