I love what a lot of millennials are doing with their careers.\u00a0<\/span>According to a study\u00a0done with 1,000 millennials from strategy firm, Department 26, \u201d44% of millennials are choosing passion while only 42% are choosing money.<\/i>\u201d \u00a0<\/span>In other words, millennials want their work to matter, and they aren\u2019t accepting the old rules that society taught us about having to choose between making money and a “do what you love” career.<\/span><\/p>\n

Steve Jobs said it perfectly: <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cYour work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to <\/i>love what you do<\/i><\/span><\/a>.<\/i><\/span>\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

I agree with Jobs\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n

But I also think doing what you love is how you create massive wealth! <\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

In my life, I\u2019ve tried both routes \u2014 following my passion and following the money. Both got me rich, but only ONE of them gave me lasting fulfillment and lasting success. <\/span><\/p>\n

Before I go into how you can create massive wealth doing what you love, let me explain the two biggest drawbacks<\/b> when you don\u2019t<\/i> love what you do:<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

1. If You Don’t Do What You Love, You Won\u2019t Be Committed To Your Work<\/span><\/h3>\n

The only way to reach high levels of success and create wealth is if you are fully committed<\/b> to your work. <\/span><\/p>\n

You can\u2019t have one foot in and one foot out. Success requires 100% of your focus, effort, and commitment, which you\u2019ll never have by doing work you hate. <\/span><\/p>\n

This is why so many people do only the bare minimum at an unfulfilling job \u2014 just enough<\/i> \u2014 which completely sabotages their chances of success.<\/span><\/p>\n

2. If You Don’t Do What You Love, You \u201cSettle\u201d For Mediocrity<\/span><\/h3>\n

Settling for a job that just \u201cpays the bills\u201d is dangerous and affects all areas of your life<\/b> \u2014 <\/i>your relationships, your overall happiness, your health, your financial well-being, and even your self-image. <\/span><\/p>\n

The reason? Well, subconsciously you become someone who settles<\/i> for mediocrity. <\/span><\/p>\n

But, if you do work you love, you\u2019re training your mind to become an achiever. <\/b>You become someone who strives for greatness in all aspects of life. True or true?<\/span><\/p>\n
