However, there are basic elements and core values that can apply to both business and life. Learn how to find success by being your truest self in all aspects of your life.<\/p>\n<h2>Apply These Values to Your Business and Life<\/h2>\n<p>It&#8217;s human nature to separate our lives into parts for convenience sake. For instance, we may want a clear distinction between work life and family life. But sometimes these distinctions disrupt what otherwise may have been an integral unity. One is an example is treating employees like family. It can go a long way toward your bottom line have loyal employees who truly care and make purposeful efforts.<\/p>\n<p><strong>If the same successful values apply to business and our personal lives, why separate the basic elements of business when we could equally consider life as a business itself?<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>Three Elements to Business Success<\/h3>\n<p>In the market, the value is determined by considering the benefit of something minus its cost, yes? These same principles apply to any part of our lives, from what we put into our bodies to the peer groups we choose. It\u2019s not cold to think of life in business terms. The human element is that values, benefits, and costs are unique to each of us and thereby unquantifiable. This idea is what makes each life\u2014and business\u2014unique with its own unique value to provide the world.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The three elements to business success are:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>You have to have the right vehicle.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>You have to have the right knowledge.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>You\u2019ve got to be the right, true version of yourself!<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>If you don\u2019t have the right vehicle, are you going to make it? If you don\u2019t have the right knowledge of how to <em>use<\/em> that vehicle, are you going to succeed? If you don\u2019t know who you are\u2014your habits, your traits, your strengths, your weaknesses\u2014are you going to find success in life?<\/p>\n<p>We don\u2019t literally live our lives in vehicles all the time. But ask yourself this, are you located where you need to be to find success in life and in business? If someone wanted to pursue acting and become a big star, Wyoming wouldn\u2019t be the best place to pursue work. Yes, or yes? That is why possessing the right knowledge and knowing who you are going hand-in-hand.<\/p>\n<h3>Decide What Successful Values to Live By<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Your livelihood is not solely measured in your bank statements.<\/strong> It\u2019s living life without a doubt. It\u2019s doing and being who you are. It&#8217;s taking in everything that comes at you\u2014the good, the bad and the ugly\u2014and knowing that you\u2019re going to keep moving forward. You are capable of succeeding no matter what.<\/p>\n<p>Right livelihood is a Buddhist principle, among other spiritual disciplines, too. It\u2019s not about how much money you make.
