No formal education, no certificates, and no advanced degrees required.

7 Reasons Why Speaking and Training is THE Business to Start

1. Training/Speaking Allows You To Create Real Wealth

Think about how much money you’re making in your current job. There’s a good chance you can only go so far because a ‘job’ usually means there are limits on your income.  

After all, there will always be a limited amount of growth in an office job, a corporate position, or serving on someone else’s staff.

But as a professional speaker or trainer, do you know what your earning potential is?

The answer: YOU decide. YOU determine how much you make.

In the speaking and training business, there are NO limits on your income, and therefore, you have the opportunity to create real wealth. It’s been true for me, as well as thousands upon thousands of my students.

2. You DO Have Expert Knowledge to Share

You might be thinking, “That’s great, but I have nothing to teach other people.”

And to that, I say NOT true!

Anyone can be a teacher.

Why? Because everyone has their own unique skills, knowledge, hobbies, and passions, and any of these can be turned into training material for others.

The personal experiences that shaped you and what you’ve learned along the way are opportunities. When you become a trainer, you’ll cash in on those experiences. You will:

• Start with what you know and love
• Share it with others and teach the masses

But what if you’ve never taught anyone before, or have never spoken in front of an audience?

3. You DON’T Have to Be a Seasoned Teacher or Expert Public Speaker

The best speakers and trainers have years of experience behind them, right?

Again to that, I say, NOT true!

You do NOT need to have decades of experience to be an amazing trainer or speaker. What you DO need is passion. You need subject matter knowledge. And you need the drive to help others.

I’m shocked when I meet people who don’t think they’re qualified to teach. They tell me they don’t know what topic they’d teach. Or they tell me they’re not an “expert” or successful enough yet.

The truth is no matter what level you’re at, you ARE qualified to teach other people. And you DON’T need to be a “certified expert.”

Research proves this, too: In a national survey from the National Opinion Research Center in Chicago, the professions where people reported the most happiness and satisfaction all had one thing in common.

What was it?

Each involved giving to others, including teaching, protecting, and caring for them.

This path is all about helping people learn and grow by sharing what you know and love. And that’s fulfilling and exciting, yes or yes?

5. It’s Easier to Become a Trainer and Sell Your Expertise Versus Other Business Models

Most other business models and start-ups usually focus on selling products or services, which means there are a lot of extra costs and risks involved.

Here’s the deal: In these business models, you need to hire multiple team members. You have to manage inventory. You have overhead costs.

Meanwhile, for teaching and speaking, the product is you and your knowledge.

It’s so much easier to make more money when you start your business with less overhead and expenses. That’s exactly what becoming a trainer gives you:

• Less overhead
• More profits upfront
• More of doing what sets you on fire and makes you excited

6. The Training You Sell Has Long-Term ROI Potential

This is some of the best news about becoming a trainer or speaker.

It’s a business with long-term ROI (return on investment) potential. That’s because you can sell your trainings/teachings in many different forms.

Of course, you will speak at events, conferences, and host training sessions. But you will also turn your expertise into training materials like ebooks, courses, videos, seminars, and more. You’ll continue to make money from these assets even when you’re not doing a speaking gig.
