There Is No Such Thing As An Average Millionaire…Here’s Why

‘Go Hard or Go Home’
I’ve seen that mantra in several different contexts, in particular to athletics or anything with a kind of “edge” to it. It comes off a little severe, like something those guys who pound each other in cages on Pay Per View would say. Train hard, push hard, work hard, fight hard. Otherwise, what’s the point?
In general, people recognize the truth in the phrase ‘Go Hard or Go Home.’ If you’re going to do something, either be the absolute best you can be or don’t do it at all. Well, not everything. You can enjoy the heck out of playing golf, but you don’t have to be a PGA player to get something out of playing. You do it strictly because you want to, no reasons needed.
Consider, though, the difference between something you do for fun versus something you’re doing for your life, like working toward financial freedom, or living a more healthy lifestyle. Being an average golfer is fine, but there’s no such thing as an average millionaire. You’re either a millionaire or you’re not, and quite frankly there aren’t as many millionaires as there are wanna-be millionaires.
In other words, you can’t just “okay” yourself to riches. You’re either going to master wealth, or you’re not.
That’s where the warrior mentality is critical for the mind of the millionaire. The warrior always chooses to be a master. A warrior has to! There is no other option. For a real warrior, mastery can make the difference between life and death. Not that being anything less than rich equals being dead, but the same kind of must-mentality is…a must!
Mastery isn’t as much a skill as it is a matter of discipline, desire, and commitment to taking your life to another level. Most people are not living anywhere near their potential because they’re playing in the minor leagues. Major leaguers, no matter what job or industry, are making lots of money because they’re not afraid of themselves, the work, the responsibility, making the necessary changes, of playing big, and they believe they must play big in order to win big.
Does it take more work to play in the majors than in the minors? Not necessarily. It takes more practice for sure, but sometimes all it takes are minor adjustments to your thinking and how you apply your skills in order to make big changes.
If you want to master anything, you’ll have to do at least some things differently. Your standards must change, your thinking needs to change from “This is okay” to “I can do much better,” and you’ll need to find reasons why there’s room to get bigger rather than reasons why not.
Can you be a master at everything? No, nor does anybody need to be. You need, instead, to prioritize, choose and focus on those things you really want for yourself. Whatever you choose, know that you’re going to master it or not take it on. If you aren’t willing to see your potential and hold yourself to it, then you won’t master much.
You will always get what you’re willing to settle for. The hardest part isn’t actually becoming a master. It’s deciding that you’re going to be one in the first place, and not going backwards from that moment on.

Becoming a master is 1 of the 6 principles taught on T. Harv Eker’s NEW signature class…

For Your Freedom,

Ciao Harv, ho acquistato il tuo libro : “Segreti della Mente Millionaria” nel 2014 che è stato tradotto in italiano. Volevo chiederti se potresti mettere i sottotitoli in italianio per “Zero To MultiMillionaire: The Ultimate Business Success Formula”. Grazie per il tuo aiuto. Saluti Sergio
Thanks, that struck home.
Don Juan in the books of Carlos Castaneda, speaks of the impeccability of the warrior. It is the most important thing he has got. Even if being impeccable means dying. And I can fully feel in my guts that it is that kind of discipline and mastership that is necessary if you want to shift up. How often I told myself “cut the crap”….
Looking forward to your Z to M class.

After everything I have been through (death of my daughter, my son being gravely injured, now disabled, strained relationship with my oldest, not speaking to most of my family, etc), I believe I can be a perfect example to those who are or will be in my position. I’m a singer and songwriter, and I’m learning more about how to hone my craft, do I can get out there and tell my story, make people understand it does get better, and that nobody and nothing is worth harming yourself over. If I can get through my hard times (which I am still going through, but working my way through), so will they. I’m not aging backwards, so it’s now or never. I’m not going to just keep sitting and moping. I’m going to sing, I’m going to write my story, sing my story, tell my story through comedy. Believe me…some parts of my life are comedy gold! I also have ideas for beauty products. I want to design clothes…I’m full of ambition…it’s time I did something about it!
I owe it to my kids and myself to make something out of my life. I owe it to everyone else to show them it can be done.
Keep the spirt Jen! All things are possible with drive, commitment, passion!!! I was a singer/songwriter before I got married and had kids……. If I can offer any assistance in your dream goal, just ask
nancy@teamthomas.net
Have a GREAT day!!
Jen, we all have a story to tell. It is your time! Share your story. There are souls impatiently waiting for you to tell them your story. Do it now for you, for your family, for the complete universe. The universe is with you now!
Is it possible to become a millionaire?
Changing a person’s life is priceless. If you hit the right pain point in a billionaire and you can fix that pain I am sure he will wire $1M into your bank account sooner than you think. Go for it. If I can be of any assistance, please let me know.
I’m still in the minors, aware of it… and tired of it! It’s going to take changes in my thinking to get into the majors…nothing anyone can do for me.
Lorrie, wherever you are!! You CAN do it!! Right now I am starting my business (network marketing) which is going fine, you can try it as well and change your life!!! We do need to take some risks!! I’ma help you doing .. Follow me or message me csosa0508@gmail.com!!
The best for you and yours!!
I am a millionaire! Yahoo! Feels good to say it. I started buying rental property (mostly single family houses) in 1998. I guess it is fair to say I took the long, slow road. Plus, even now, 2016, my wealth is great, but my cash flow is still just okay – need 3-4 more years during which 23 houses will all get paid off for that to jump up to the level of my wealth. I was a nobody, little guy, and I just didn’t want to have to struggle financially my whole life (like we did when I was growing up – one of three kids raised in a Mom-only household). Biggest things – make the decision, and start. Also, if you haven’t yet, go to 3-day MMI!!! It’s free, and you will learn a ton about what is holding you back. “I get rich doing what I love! I deserve to be rich because I add value to other people’s lives!”
Hi Harv, I think the first step is, you’ve got to recognize that you’re not making the kind of progress that you always thought you would. You’ve got to fundamentally surrender the idea that ‘it’s working’, when really you’ve been operating from a place of fear and not really doing what needs to be done. You’ve got to accept that and decide to follow your dream anyway, because you have to. You’ve got to wake up one day and realize that you can’t move on until you’ve gotten to the bottom of what that dream is. What that feeling is. And then you’ve got to go there and obliterate everything that’s been holding you back. Ultimately you come to know who you are and learn to love yourself and then and only then do you find the grit to do what it takes.
That was well put!!! That encouraged me to keep moving forward. Thank you
Great input it gets me to thinking more of what holds me back
There’s a difference between being a millionaire and what is truly important, which is being a successful person on a high level. It’s not making money that gets you there; if it were, the young stars who we keep hearing about wouldn’t keep self-destructing. If becoming a millionaire was the measure, then the definition of success would change with inflation. Becoming a millionaire is not the real end, although it might be a nice place to go along the way.
So…If you’re gonna be a warrior, I recommend reading “The Art of War” by SunTzu. You are not in this alone, there are forces that push either against you or with you. You must master to ART of making money. Others will try to tear you down, push you back, or force you to surrender your mission. You MUST rise up from the ashes, re-strategize if necessary, and do whatever is it takes to win. WHATEVER it takes because, you’re a warrior. Some people may not look kindly to your mastery of the fight. No matter, you know where and what you want to conquer. Now go do it!
I was born with a learning disability, and raised in a dysfunctional family. My family and some people in society bullied me through out life. This made me very angry with life, I started to fighting back. I started beating people up for the respect, I so desperately wanted. When I became feared from the bullies in my life, I then focused on learning how to learn. My brain is slow to process information it receives, but I was still able to learn. For me to read I would have to read a paragraph 5 times for my brain to understand what it meant. teachers would be talking trying to teach me, and most of their words would either go right over my head or they would talk to fast and I would not understand what they are talking about. I finely made a teacher sit down with me, to teach me what he wanted me to learn. When I did this we both learned something about my learning curve, we learned that I am a visual learner.
Now my dysfunctional family also introduced me to drugs and alcohol at the age of ten, mix this with my aggressive personality from the PTSD I grew up with. Creating a person that would constantly get himself into trouble with the law. At the age of 16 I was kicked out of my parents homes, because I threatened to kill my mother. My behaviour made me bounce around from one person home to another, until found a place of my own. However I had to learn how to respect others for things to change in my life.
My behaviour would make it hard for me to keep a job or a place to live.
I understood that I was exactly where I was in life because of my behaviours and the things I had learned in life. This made me think if I learned to be this way, maybe I can learn to become a better person. This realization made me search for help, I went to AA and NA, searched for consolers to help me understand the process of controlling my behaviours.
From all the work I have done to change, I was able to finely get my 12 education at the age of 28. I have not been to jail in over 18 years, I have not physically harmed another person in over 18 years. I have not drank alcohol or used drugs in over 21 years, and I have raised a family.
I now mentor others through the process of changing their lives.
très belle réussite, bravo, toutes nos croyances peuvent être changées..votre histoire est inspirante.
That is incredibly inspiring! Thanks for sharing.
Such brilliant simplicity!
Thank you Harv!
Burning from the desire!!!
Thank you
Wow! This Lesson strucked in my heart sharply, whatever your Situation right now it will only remain if you dont do anything to Change it! Thanks because i have still a chance to change my course of the Path to Travel in Fulfilling my DREAMS
I procrastinated a LOOOONG TIME! I’ve started and stopped, got stuck in life. Now my daughter has been a missing person since 2010 and I was just plain stuck. My mind was numb, but in my subconscious, I realized that I couldn’t get out and even begin to LOOK for her if I had NO MONEY! Now, I’ve re-awakened my goals and dreams, and put my ass in gear! No stopping now until I’ve reached my desired goal and that is to be A MILLIONAIRE by the time I’m 66…ten years and countdown!
I am completely fed up with the rat race. I decided this past fall that I was done playing in the minors. I am focused on my internet marketing like a laser. I think about it all the time. It is a complete addiction. I willing pick up more hours at my job so I will have more money to invest into my business. I spend about 90% of my off time from my job to work on my business. I am always learning ways to make my whole life more bountiful/wealthy. I think one thing is to smile and keep that wonderful smile power going all the time.
Harv
I am Yet to produce the MM transition
Soon I will be able to look back at this time & thank you for this life changing motivational opportunity
It’s all in the I AM that you assume yourself to be – the rest is all gravy. I started with nothing and am now rich with tens of millions. You never do it with hard work or struggle – that is striving in the darkness of the human mind. It is absolutely a matter of consciousness. All of the other formulas for success are fable. When you can say, “I AM rich” and absolutely FEEEL it, you naturally reserve your mental attention for creative ideas that make you rich, and rich you shall be, no matter what the so called facts of life may insist is true for you. I know. I do it continually. There is absolutely nothing special about me.
I was previously goin into a career that would provide a good income and benifits, had been with the company a few years and got promoted to supervisor. When sent to supervisor training alot of managers and district leaders came up and told ther story about how they wanted to be ‘something else’ (policemen, nurses, ect) but the company was good to them so they stuck it out….sounded great at first….then it clicked, they gave up on their dreams and settled. So for one year i rocked the supervisor position pulling 3.7million in from my designated depts. Then the question started ringing in my head. Is this what i realy wanted to do?! A few years prior a few songs that i composed had played on local radio n i was stoked about it…was new to the digital networking and so forth and some opportunities got overlooked. I was on the radio but ther was nowhere for peeps to download or get to me. So now being on this way to a “great career” somthing was rising up…start a clothing line….what…i have no clue how….start a clothing line…just kept ringing till i actually looked on youtube how to do it and spent almost my whole check on buying the web domain steadyblessed.com . I was released from the company a few weeks later and withdrew my 401K and invested in myself! Since then ive felt a freedom i hadent had before. All these doors started opening up, i was invited into marci lock’s mastermind program, launched my clothing website and released 2albums for digital distribution:) I was fond of the movie the secret and seen an abundance factor link on my facebook page, so awsome, been blessed to be able to receive such insite from all , t harv eker being one of my new favorites! Now im here lol loving life, loving myself, and loving those around me!!!! Stay blessed my peeps
I’m starting changing to play big! I’m starting with relationships, eating, money management, working and anything I touch with! I has been awake at about 5 months ago and NOW I feel that I control my mind and life. That’s a GREAT lifestyle!
I just changed my business from my young brothers room to the market which is the major league.new rules and alot to learn.
What it will take for me is more specialized knowledge in my area of expertise. And this comes with training.
Harv,
Very insightful. I believe you are saying that ambition and drive are necessary for achievement of financial success.
I agree that this is a key ingredient.
It can be difficult to maintain the required level of motivation. Hence the need for motivational speakers and excellent courses such as yours.
Keep up the excellent work!!
it starts witt a mindset to be the best in whatever we do.
it continues with each improvement, and change to be better.
it takes struggles and pain to see the mistakes and to overcome them.
To be a master – takes years. It can be hard work too.
Thank you T. Harv.
I’m go hard, but I’ve work in a home office. Go hard AND go home 😉
It just wonderful to learn here
