Discover Why Almost All Successful People Have This One Characteristic In Place

One of the most important characteristics that have to be in place for you to be successful as a person is integrity. If you don’t have that, you are absolutely screwed.
First of all, you’ll never be rich for long. If you get rich without being in integrity, you’re going to lose it. It’s as simple as that. Secondly, you won’t be able to live with yourself.
The definition of integrity if you look it up in a dictionary is basically whole and complete. The dictionary’s going to give you a couple of other ways that the word is used, including doing what you say you are going to do and finishing what you start.
If you do those two things, you will be rich, you’ll be successful, and you’ll be happy.
If you aren’t going to do what you say you’re going to do, don’t fricking say you’ll do it!
If you want to be successful, if you want to be rich, and if you want to have a good relationship with anybody, the absolute number one thing is trust.
It’s not okay that you’re late. It’s not okay that you don’t keep your commitment or your word. If you don’t keep your word, people are going to naturally think you’re unreliable, you’re rude and you cannot be trusted. They’re not going to want to do business with you. They might give you one more chance but you think they’re not going to remember that? Trust is lost in buckets and gained in drops.
When you don’t keep your word, in the same way that an outside, other person doesn’t trust you anymore and thinks you’re unreliable and untrustworthy, you think exactly the same thing about yourself now.
Your conditioned mind will say, “You’re untrustworthy. You’re unreliable. I can’t take what you say as gospel anymore. I don’t believe you anymore.”
If you don’t do what you say you’re going to do, you are essentially giving the message to the universe that what you say is garbage in the universe. If you want to have the life you want, your word needs to become law. What you say needs to actually happen in the universe.
It’s so simple, because all you have to do is do what you say. By doing this you are practicing the process of manifestation. Here’s how; the universe will start to get the message that what you say comes true. This is showing the universe that you are trustworthy and in return the universe will start to make what you say happen. Consequently, the opposite is true as well.
You’ve got to be a good partner for the universe!
So where do you start?
You’ve got to start with mini steps; mini commitments, a mini word and keep it. In other words, make it easy to keep your word. Don’t make it hard because if you make it hard, and you happen to slip yet again, you’re just going to go teach yourself and the universe that your word is worth shit, whether it’s true or not. How we feel is often our reality.
What do you start with? You start with the simplest things; the first action of something so that you can win, so you can keep your word to the universe and gain some momentum.
Some people say, “I want to be a multi-millionaire,” but today they’re broke and last year they earned $10,000. There’s a big leap of faith in the universe and in yourself, there. I’m not saying don’t go for it, but I would say slow down a bit there!
A more reasonable goal, to stay on this track, is to maybe say, “Today I’m going to start managing my money properly.” Now you’re budgeting, saving, and then maybe think about investments. See how that goes before you start promising yourself and others millions.
Start on the small things and build integrity. Make them easy to attain, no matter what area of life we’re talking about, so you get some momentum, progress and reliability on your side.
Tell us what you think. What are your experiences with integrity in important situations, either as a lapsed integrity on your side or when someone else didn’t hold up their end?

For Your Freedom,

I am very attentive about what I say, about my words and promises. If I say something I must keep my word by any cost, that’s why I enjoy people’s trust .Sometimes if I have to do something useful but I don’t do it along time, I announce about it loudly, because I know in this case I will do it in 100%

Iove these comments about integrity, because it’s another way of saying ‘intending the mind’ – it is vital.
Fantastic and right on time. This is the missing link that luts everything together in place. Thank you, harv!
I am learning so much from you, Harv. I thank you very much for that. I am still taking my baby steps to being a millionaire (or at least a filthy rich gal), but I am on the way – following your advices, following the Lifemakeover program and planning on starting the Zero to Multi Millionaire program… On the way and keeping my word on it. Thanks a lot.

This is just to great
Thank you very much sir
Hi T. Harv Eker,
I admire your positive mindset and your teaching that is so rich and useful.
Do you need any assistant or helper? I am willing to assist and learn from you.
Cheers,
May
This is so true… I have experienced both situations. I used to finish everything I was commitment with and for some personal / professional issues I began to not finish what I started and I feel very bad because of it. Fortunately I’m conscious about this situation and I’m in process to back to my primarily state of mind. Do more than what I say and finish what I start 🙂
This is such a wonderful article, Harv. It is so true. However, I think that most people fail to keep their commitments to themselves first. I believe that rich people make a commitment to pay themselves first and some tithe first. Then, they portion out their remaining funds and pay their expenses. Not paying yourself first is the first and biggest mistake that most people who are not rich make. I was always told to pay my bills first by mom. Well meaning advice, but not great advice for becoming wealthy. You then value everyone else first.
So, pay yourself first and tithe if that is part of your belief system..
Reward yourself whenever you accomplish a task. This doesn’t have to be large monetarily. Imagine if your boss gave you a raise whenever you accomplished a task. Would you be motivated? Well, the reward doesn’t need to be external. It can come from you and have the same effect. The rewards can be simple things you do for yourself. Then mix in rewards that involve things that will create passive income for yourself. Giving to others also makes you feel good (is good for your soul).
I got my lesson today, so good to learn. I am supported and backed from Universe/God, I understood one more time, if I ask the question openheartedly, answer is coming… Thank you Harv…
Nilgun, keep in mind
The Universe is not Santa Claus. It reacts slowly, like your gas gauge – it does not react on picks but on real stuff.
So, persistence and patience are absolutely needed. However, the desire, emotional will, is a driver for the answer. Bare in mind that answer could be quite something else than you expect. You have to catch it. Sometimes, NO is the best answer and later you will understand it.
I was born an Artist an very creative person, but from the time I was a kid people who were artists made little to no money. That really bummed me out cuz its the gift that I was given, To use it,. But due to no one wanting to pay for art ,,,I went into the Medical field and later through marriage into the Restaurant field which I did really great in both of those fields however there was always a nagging part of me that wanted to paint and draw. I could do Murals but even that did not give me a good source for money. Now that I am a bit older I thought about the great masters ….how did they pull so much attention into what they were doing ,,,,to get people to see the worth of their art,,,then it hit me I got an Idea where it would take time but it could get Art back where it belongs ….
Most artists are poor but art has its personal rewards. The reward of giving to others. Most artists need a day job. But, that’s ok as long as you have your art.
Dear Harv,
I have been reading most of your lessons, but this one is really a bomb…I mean an eyeopener. This has hit the nail right on the head. This is the transformational newsletter. Thanks very much for the wisdom.
If you want to have the life you want, your word needs to become law. What you say needs to actually happen in the universe.” This line is really fantastic.
thanks very much for your life lessons.

Venu.
Successful people are commited towards success and unsuccessful are commited for other failure, Commitment is very essential but along with commitment right Direction is very essential, Successful people surrender unconditionally towards their Goal while Failure give their commitment with some condition, So if any person surrender Himself unconditionally towards Goal nothing can stop him to achieve Goal.
Благодарю! Очень полезная информация!
Integrity is everything in life. It has often been said that integrity is not as much a virtue in itself, but the one virtue that guarantees all the others. Integrity is doing what you should do, when you should do it, and in an excellent way, whether someone is watching you or not.
Integrity is even more than what you say. Basically, it means that your character is not corrupted in any way and you stand by your values independent if gain or loose. You are the only one that can change it and only without any pressure but based on collected experience and knowledge.
People with strong integrity, sometimes equalized as Ego (although ego is more an emotional structure), has difficulties to accept changes imposed by others, even good gurus. They have to absorb new stuff as their own.
Hi Harv, I love your teachings. I am very punctual and very committed with other people. If I tell someone that I am going to do something for them, I do it. But I don’t do that for myself. If I tell myself that I’m going to do something for myself, eight times out of ten, I don’t end up doing it. I have integrity towards other people 100% but not towards myself. I don’t know why. Please tell me how I can have more integrity towards myself.
Thankyou for the articles, quite helpful to me!
I love this article. I was thinking about writing something like this myself recently , I am finding in my coaching business that there is a culture in Australian culture of people not turning up to events they commit to, pulling out at the last minute, delaying deadlines. I recently spent two months preparing for a lunch presentation and on the afternoon prior it was transferred to next year because a number of people had pulled out at the last minute and they were sure that some others would pull out on the day. It is so disrespectful and not only that the people who were expecting a lunch presentation missed out. I was totally in integrity wit myself, as I had done the work so in a way it was a success for me as I now have a great presentation, how do you deal with this sort of culutre ?
I think we need to be realistic about what we can achieve. I think you’re absolutely right about starting with goals we can achieve before looking to becoming multi-millionaires if we’re earning a modest income. Yes we should have big goals, however, we should always come back to where we are right now and use the wealth of resources we often already have around us to take us step by step to the big goals.
Estou com o firme propósito de mudar minha vida e as lições que tenho aprendido com você tem me ajudado a manter a energia . obrigado Tim Harv Eker
most of us live in a materialistic world and are marketed to buy stuff we don’t really want or need.walking round the main streets, roads, alley ways of Manchester keeping it clean and tidy on a daily basis.the waste and rubbish that’s left behind and cast off by society is aweful.a different mind set is needed to change our spending habits.
