Discover Why Your Problems Are Caused By The Way You Think

Have you ever heard the saying, “You can’t solve a problem with the same mind that created it?”

I believe it was Einstein that first said this. I think this is a very powerful statement, but what exactly does it mean?

It means that if you want a new solution, you have to come up with a new way of thinking about that problem.

I want to share with you what I believe could be one of the most important things you’ll ever learn – or ever get reminded of – in your entire life. This is critical thinking if you want to go through life in a joyful, happy, balanced, and less stressed way.

Now, you don’t have to believe this—you just have to be open to it and see if you can resonate with it.

Ready?

For the most part, all of our problems are caused by the way we think.

Meaning that ANY problem you experience beyond your primal human needs (food, shelter, and water)….are SOLELY created by your mind.

Now, you might not like that. You may be thinking, “Harv, you’re not saying that I’m just ‘making up’ my problems, are you?”

Well, it depends. But I’m going to say with certainty that almost all of the time…you are.

Again, I want to remind you of a few things. Your mind is based on survival. Its job is protection. Therefore, it’s always looking for what’s wrong, or what could go wrong in any situation.

Imagine a security guard. What kind of security guard is going to be looking for what’s right? Can you imagine hiring a bodyguard that’s only looking for what’s right?

No, that would never happen,. Why? Because that’s not their job. What does a bodyguard look for? It looks for problems, it looks for danger.

It looks for things that can shake up what’s familiar. If you’re considering a new business opportunity, perhaps trying something a little risky, your mind will just look for problems.

Consequently, your mind is 100% fear-based.

Now, if you know your mind is fear-based, where are your problems?

Yep, you got it – in your mind.

In other words, if you want to create real solutions, you’ve got to get outside that mind, because that mind is loaded with fear. By trying to protect you, your mind is actually limiting what you’re capable of… so instead of just listening to it, you need to constantly bring it into question.

Instead, acknowledge your thoughts and say the 4 magic words: “Thank you for sharing”, and then take the necessary action and do what you were going to do, anyway.

By understanding that your mind is your greatest asset, but also your greatest liability, you’re able to consciously accept or reject what it’s telling you – so you have the power to decide your next move.
