Prime Condition

So … how’s your mental health these days?
There’s so much going on in the world—things certainly aren’t boring, that’s for sure! Signs of change are apparent, from cautious optimism on the economic front to political shifts around the world. While some respond to change with excitement and hope, others can see the same events with fear and apprehension, responding much differently.
I like the example of the twins abused by their father in childhood. One becomes abusive toward her own family later in life, while the other expresses the love and caring with her future family absent from her experience. Both ask, “How else would I be?” And both are right.
There are more than enough reasons to choose non-supportive responses to life’s shocks and tribulations, but we’ve still got to keep our inner game tight if we want to be happy and successful—regardless of what happened decades ago or last night—so let’s do some more mental check-ups, yes?
We’ve got to keep an eye on negative conditioning that takes hold and steers us away from what we want. We’re not going to let non-supportive conditioning take root, or we’re going to begin the process of uprooting that negativity.
In the example of the twins, very few if any people would knowingly choose to participate in abusive and unhappy relationships, yet that’s what shows up for the one that linked love with conflict rather than affection.
So now what happens? The twin that links love with abuse gets angrier, no matter who the relationship is with—the angrier she gets, the closer she comes to a point in her life where she’s sick and tired of being angry. Finally she says, ‘I just want to be happy and peaceful.’ She asks the same mind that created the link between love and abuse what to do.
Not knowing anything else but conflict, that same mind says, “If you want to get rid of the anger you’re going to have to get rid of the love,” and so she does, subconsciously. She sabotages herself or just takes herself out of the game completely.
By the way … the same goes for money, yes or yes? People with negative associations to money—who still make a lot of it anyway—manage to give it away, make bad investments or they have a divorce. Or people just don’t make it at all. Whatever the non-supportive associations, it usually comes down to an issue of awareness—knowing that these things are going on. And this goes for everything, not just money or love.
So what’s your condition? Stable? Critical? Are those roots supportive or non-supportive toward your success-building? Are they deep or are they shallow?
It takes conscious effort to uncover the different types of conditioning we undergo—from family roots, to school, church, and media, culture— the list goes on and on. It’s nothing that can truly be grasped and appreciated in just a few blogs.
However, take advantage of a community of like-minded people. Share your thoughts on the different ways we’re conditioned, the subtle yet profound ways this conditioning impacts us, and some ways you “debug” those programs—whether from Million Mind seminars or some tactics you’ve picked up along the way. We want to hear from you!

I have a conditioning that goes more ways than i can count. I keep learning new ways of creating new conditions without completions from mostly family yeahs and nays, this i have just been learning about myself since reading MMI book. There comes thoughts that these conditions will come to a head of conclusions and create success with monetay means some point in life. Thank you for the realizations of having a sense.
So true, so true. I am making conscious choices now compared to how I used to act. For many years, my social upbringing dictated my reactions. Now I realize that I have the choice to empower myself or stay stuck in non-supportive actions.
It does take consistent awareness to balance this, but the results are spectacular! Great topic to bring to the table,
Val 😉
I really connect with this blog. I came to the realization just recently that I attached instability with love. I grew up in an alcoholic home. My father would grab the checkbook and disappear. My mom would do everything she could to fix things financially. My parents are still married after 35 years and my father has been in recovery now for 17 years. However, these images of instability were profound for me as a child and I carried this instability into my marriage, unconsciously. I just attended an Awakening Seminar this weekend and it was a real life changing experience for me: https://www.awakeningseminars.c…
I feel empowerment, freedom and inner peace from this retreat. It's wonderful to wake up and want to conquer my day with so much joy and gusto!
Since it is hard to see our roots I have chosen to take action and meet with a mastermind group on a regular basis. This groups supports my good decisions and they caution against my bad decisions. I recommend everybody belong to a mastermind group.

How can I help?
Oh emotional links are so important. Are was always lead to believe that rich people are bad people, thus money is bad and I had a problem with accumulating money as a result of that. I'm glad that I have found out the truth so early in my life.
Great post! My time as a therapist showed me that regardless of being stable or critical, people can get “stuck” in thought-processes that just aren’t working for them.
The problem with getting into a negative tailspin is that even if you’re a positive person, it’s hard to steer your way out. It’s great to remind ourselves to take a look at how we have been conditioned. And to also look at how we respond to negative circumstances. Any time you feel like a victim, it’s a signal to stop looking at outside forces and start looking internally. It takes courage to understand that you are 100% responsible for your life, despite what has happened to you.
Why has'nt the MMI being brought to Africa where alot of persons who may find it difficult ot travel to developed countries to attend the seminar can attend in their country. The MMI Seminar shouldbe brought to Lagos Nigeria. Aspiring young people of Nigeria will really appreciate it. Thanks Harv
Wonderful Blog, Harv. Love this message. I became aware of a self-sabotaging pattern only after reading back through my journals. Since it was not one I fell into often I certainly found that it repeats when I am vulnerable or under stress. Becoming aware has given me freedom from automatic reactions learned in childhood and have “grown-up” again to be the person I want to be. Writing has been an incredible tool for becoming self-aware.
Thank you Harv, many true words. So true also when one person is trying to move forward under difficult circumstances but the same group (I think) who is supposed to be supportive is continuously pulling him down, making assumptions as a result of a one sided communication feed it seems.
Thank you.
great idea
Hi
I really like T. Hark Eker, I went to his Millionair Mind Intensive at Dallas last year it's incredible, you really learn your habits about money and life, talking about money I found this definitions at

Enjoy..
The first and foremost skill anyone needs to possess in today's chaotic world is the ability to train the brain to become conscious – choice of unlearning and relearning
Hi Everyone. I want to share my feelings with you. I think its important. Firstly, I have to say, reading Harvs book has changed my financial perspective and outcome, undoubtedly.
But, I just listened to his free tele-seminar with Courtney Smith; “secrets to investing in the stock markets” and I cant say how utterly dissapointed I am. It really made me question Harvs agenda and has changed my view that perhaps he is not the giving guy we thought he was & his offers hide his selfish agenda.
The vast majority of the seminar was Harv trying to “sell” the millionaire mind intensive seminar, albeit it being a “free” offer, but no doubt it is a snare to have you sign up to Courtneys course at costly fee.
There was no educational value behind this seminar at all, no secrets to trading were revealed and it was not the “warp to success” promise that they said it would be.
The best thing they said was that the markets moves more on human psychology rather than company performance but any website concerning stock trading would have told you that. Harv claims he hosts Courtney because he is the best, so why did he go to the trouble of sourcing the best to tell us what we already knew? He didnt, he used it as a snare to capture our interest and sell us something at a later date.
What disgusted me enough to make me write this was Harvs approach. He used fear to entice people, almost threatening; stating that if we dont do his course, we will fail and dont care for our loved ones because we are depriving them to a destiny of failure and destitution. I am dissapointed.
I read all of Harvs work and although much of it is repetitive, I find it very insightful and useful. This was bad.
I will continue to review his and the work of others because I want to continue growing and I like to keep myself up to date with different perspectives out there. I just hope that his next approach.
I just wanted to share my thoughts, like Harv said, Thoughts lead to feelings, feelings lead to actions and this was the result of mine.
Harv isnt perfect & i dont think people should hang onto his or anyones every word because we often forget that they often have their own agenda. Keep your mind open and available to every piece of information out there, its the only way to ensure you grow in the right direction.
and in case anyone wants to suggest that this is hate mail or I am a failure for not being wide eyed to everything he says, I earn good money with approximately £23,000 being my best week so far and growing. Good luck everyone.
