The Power of Gratitude
Be grateful!
We hear it all the time, at least in a community of fellow seekers who want to grow their financial success building as much as their spiritual peace. Life has its highs and lows, but the one thing that’s the same no matter where we are on the wheel is that there are always many things to be grateful for.
It’s easy to be grateful when it doesn’t really require a ton of effort, like saying “please” or “thank you.” It’s easy to be grateful when things are going great. But what about when things aren’t going quite as planned?
Everyone’s been there. The mind starts going into “what’s wrong,” or what’s not enough, what’s too much to deal with, too much to do in order to overcome an obstacle and reach a goal. In some ways it’s natural, but when it becomes a habit then the pity party is simply a safer choice.
The truth is it takes much more courage to appreciate what we’ve got—no matter how little it may seem—than it is to surrender to the scarcity model and let ourselves off the hook for taking action because something isn’t enough.
Our egos will tell us that if we spend too much time being grateful for what we have, we won’t try to get more, and we’ll become stuck with being “content” instead of happy.
Wanting what we currently have has nothing to do with somehow tricking ourselves into “settling.” Just because you’re buying an economy car now that’s practical but not so hot-looking doesn’t mean you won’t want a Ferrari three years from now when you’re rich. It’s not hard to be grateful for that fact that you have four wheels to drive and get to where you need to go. There are plenty of people in this world that don’t have that, with consequences we couldn’t imagine.
It’s the lack-based protective mind that continuously hungers for more, like a squirrel hording nuts for winter. The scarcity model, constantly looking around, overlooks and discounts what’s right in front of us. We have to consistently remind ourselves to look for “what’s right” in our lives instead of “what’s wrong.”
Then we’ll be less likely not to forget to show our appreciation to the people who are closest to us; our family, friends, loved-ones, co-workers, employees. Then there are teachers, postal workers—all the people that make our daily lives more convenient and enrich our larger communities. And let’s not forget to say “thank you” to the Universe for our many blessings.
Gratitude particularly holds true when it comes to finances. To have abundance, be grateful for and properly manage whatever wealth you have now, even if you don’t think it’s much. Why? If you’re not appreciating what you already have, that means you’re not maximizing what’s available right now. If you can’t do that, why should the Universe believe you can handle more?
Now it’s your turn! Declare your gratitude to the millionaire mind community. Who and what have you not fully appreciated? What are some of the things that you think we tend to take for granted? Below list the people and things in your life for which you are grateful. Show your appreciation to the people who mean the most to you for all that you have.

I am grateful for the person I have become through trying to reach my goals even if I have not reached them, yet. I have been striving for the end for so long I was getting worn out. I took a breather and looked back to see how far I have travelled. I have grown so much through the process giving me more motivation to keep going.

I am grateful for the distance I have come in the past year, as well as my wonderful family and home and friends. Also I thank all the “difficult” people who have created opportunities for me to learn and to look into the “mirror” even if I don't always LIKE what I see,I DO see what I prefer to change in myself!
I do agree so much, Harv! One of the biggest things to be thankful for is our health. A friend of mine proved to me that I'm already a billionaire. He said: “Imagine God gave you billions of dollars, but he'd take your eyes away. Would you agree?” I said “No way!” “So, my friend continued, the cost of your eyes for you is billions and more! And that's just your eyes, and you have so much more already that's worth for you trillions.”
I am grateful for my wise friend who opens my eyes at how grateful we should be for the health we already have!
I'm grateful for my successful businesses online and the freedom it allows me.
I'm grateful for my family and friends and an ever evolving consciousness.
I'm grateful for T.Harv too!
Dar gracias por todo, por lo que parece ser afortunado o no, la gratitud es clave para la plenitud.
Harv, I'm grateful for your post… for my family, my boyfriend…
I thank the Divine Providence for everything I have, everything Ive learned, everything Ive lived and more important… everything that is coming to have, to learn and to live. I thank for reading this text today 🙂 I wasn't casualty but causality

I have made gratitude the ABSOLUTE cornerstone of my entire
worldview over the last 18 months, and it has completely turned my life around. Gratitude Rocks ! is my mantra. I used to use gratitude lists as a way to make dopamine when I was slipping into negativity. Now I use gratitude as way more than first aid. My outlook is completely different, I try to start my commute with 300 “thank yous” usually sung along with something on the radio. I rarely have bad days anymore, bad ten minutes yes, but I have the tools to change that quickly. Thank you T. Harv Eker !
I am grateful for all the opportunities I have had to learn. I am grateful for my home, family, and loved ones. I am grateful for the my finances. I am grateful for the coaching I am receiving in learning the true value of life and being appreciative and grateful for ALL THINGS in your life. I am grateful for learning how to give people experiences and learning how to do this not only am I giving them joy I am receiving joy as well. I am grateful for the message in this blog today, it reinforces everything I am doing. Thank You, I really appreciate and grateful for your time in writing it.
Enjoying what the universe offers us is the key to life … Being grateful is so simple, so honorable and so favorable in aligning your ship with the stars … I often think of the song lyric, “Do you still feel small when you stand beside the ocean?” and realize that all we really have to give is ourselves and it makes so much sense to be grateful for all we have … Thanks Harv …
Thank you Harv for teaching me knowledge. My life has change and I am happy for that.

After reading “Half the sky” I became grateful for so many things I took for granted before.Living in a peaceful country, health, having access to clean water, food in abundance, all the knowledge of the world through internet , just going to an ATM to get money, having the opportunity to contribute to the wellbeing of others, travelling, having fun with paramotoring and so many things more.
I am grateful for my health, for my wealth, for my wonderful husband, for food I eat on the table and I am grateful for market america!
I am grateful to God for giving me the enthusiasm and passion to live my life each day so that I can love my daughter, my family, my employer, my friends, my country and my world more.
Thank you God, Thank you Harv …. : O )
The Power of Gratitude. I am so grateful to God for my health, loving husband and family and all of my wonderful business ventures.
Hi Harv,
This is absolutely true!
I am grateful for my present circumstances in life, a husband whom I see everyday, teen-age children who are responsible and doing well in school, a small increase our farm stocks, knowing new people who give me wisdom in business. There is really so much to thank for, and all these began when I started to change my mindset. I am learning a lot from Jomar Hilario, who also led me to you Harv. Thank you, you are helping me change my blueprint.!
I am truly grateful for:
– all aspects of myself which have taken me to where I am today and will be tomorrow.
– my family who have helped shape me into who I am.
– my love of learning which leads me to meeting new people and new experiences and making new best friends and business partners.
– opportunities which remind me I have choice.
– the money management jar system because I now do this with my family and we are all on the same page. Wow.
– life, because it is a beautiful world.
– my home, it keeps me cozy in any season.
– my car, it gets me anywhere comfortably and safely and always finds me parking spaces exactly where I need.
– for the creativity of others because their ideas and gifts to the world provide more opportunies and choice to others – including me 🙂
– for my wonderful neighbourhood and lovely neighbours because they make my immediate environment such a treat to live in.
– all of my teachers past, present and future because they help me to clear my filters and see the world through my spirits eyes more and more.
– everyday encounters with those I know and don't know because they reflect back to me those lessons I am in the process of learning or need reminding of.
– for spirit because anyhow, anyway, spirit finds a way to let me know what I need to know.
– the weather and the world of nature because they help to remind me of the progression and cycle of all things.
– the expansion of technology because it has helped make the world a smaller place and thus enabled me to make great friends worldwide.
– the expression of gratitude because I can at anytime express appreciation of anything at anytime and I feel my heart expanding as a result. It is like communing with my spirit and that is a wonderful experience.
– the opportunity to share here.
Hi, Leslie! Thanks for your comment. As I'm sure you know, it can be tough to be grateful for, say, being delayed in traffic 10 minutes longer than you wanted to, even though that extra 10 minutes can mean extra time to deflate from a tough day, or just let your thoughts flow. But you hit it on the head … difficult people DO present opportunities for us to gauge the things we think we don't like about others, but actually just pronounce what we project from ourselves onto them. Such a great point we all need to remember the next time someone is “disagreeable” in some way.
Thanks again for taking the time comment. Myself and our community appreciate such insightful thoughts!
Best,
T. Harv Eker

I really believe that we have to be gratiful specially in the dows of life because when you the goods things your life tend to grow
Hi James!
I was really struck by your comment, particularly when you mentioned that you used to use gratitude more poignantly for immediate changes of mental state, and how now it's just become a way of being for you.
hey, we all have to start somewhere, don't we? If we wanted to, there's so much in this world we can choose to look at negatively, it's no surprise a lot of people stay in that “downer” state of mind. And though it IS actually easier to be grateful, sometimes it just doesn't seem that way, does it? But with enough consistency and focus, it anything can become second nature, as it seems it has to you.
Great comment and feedback. If there's maybe one thing I'd like to piggy-back on, it's breathing … a quick sigh of relief to accompany gracious thoughts. Even if negativity creeps in occasionally, deep breathing is scientifically proven to release our bodies' natural “pain” relievers, so at a certain point, that sigh of relief is biologically no different whether the thoughts are positive or negative. It just becomes you, and with your kind of positive focus, it does come easy!
Best,
T. Harv Eker
What am I grateful for? How much space am I allowed?
1. The love and friendship of my beautiful wife
2. The health and happiness of my amazing children
3. The support of my extended family
4. My amazing practice where I make a difference in my corner of the world.
5. The parents that entrust me with the health of their children.
6. The money that just flows into my practice every day.
7. Peak Potentials for introducing me to Tax Lien Investing
8. Peak Potentials for tranforming my life and turning me into a Warrior!
……
Gratitude has been a core habit I have enculcated over the few years, ever since I came across the Enlightening Law of Attraction. I give Thanks the Moment I wake up to having Loving Parents, Friends, Relationships, Opportunities. And what changed, is that by being grateful to my parents everyday, I love them more with each day. Parents come after God for me. And for me to establish a stronger love with each day, is definitely a progressive realisation I love.
Thank you Mr. T Harv Eker for bringing change, creating value and transforming lives. I am a fortunate victim to your immense wisdom.
Warrior Song
Walking the warrior path is the only Quest
The only knowing
Stalking it gently
Running it swiftly
Dancing it lovingly
It’s all I know
My flame
My search
My essence
In the moonlight I stand
At the waters edge
And cast the sins deep into the waters
Reborn in wildness
Without shame
Without guilt
Colour woman I am
Hewn from the rocks
Distilled from the flowers
Part of the sky
I carry no burden
I ache for you
Only you
I call your spirit
Spirit dancing is all I dream
For this I risk
All life
All living
In my walking I have entered all worlds
The worlds of pain
I have known so deep
So true
I chose the fire
And was burnt in all its heat
Until all suffering created me whole
In sorrow I dove
And washed the sins of
Humanity
In the deepest recesses I journeyed
Holding only
My love
My innocence
The pain enfolded
Unfurled my centre
Like a flower
Until opening was all I knew
All I was
All I could be
With the awakening I danced
I danced sweetness
I danced innocence
My invitation was only to see
To see and know the wildness
The dream
With tender attention
I held myself
And learned my truth
My power
My being
Saw so much beauty
So much endless, endless
Beauty in the seeing
Until beauty was all my eyes would
See
Searing into the centre of all
Creation
Beauty was all there ever was
In the last never wearied of infinite
Journey
I came to the land of the silver lake
I called to the full moon
This sacred womb
This tender woman
Guarder of spirituality
Guarder of life force
Gathering the silver waters
I held them to the full moon
And became bathed in its
Sacred fires
Slowly, silently, I returned to
Innocence
To you
Peace

To Harv,
My energy, my passion and purpose are huge. My expertise is training. I have stood and watched for a chance to give this to the world. To have my voice heard, to create bridges for people where there is separation.

Heartfelt gratitude to Peak Potentials for reminding me who I was again. I was a complete train wreck and you got me back on track again! Your community re-awakened the divine spark within… now it's a passionate fire that cannot be snuffed out. Love, light, wisdom and laughter, Beth Rosen
Gratitude means realizing you have much more than many(most) people could ever dream of having.Next time you're called upon to donate to a legitimate charity, regardless of how much you think that money is important to YOU,think of those in the position to need that charity. Come up with a reasonable amount to donate then double it! The Universe will repay you for your gratitude many times over!
